Quincy Enunwa came onto the scene back in 2016 catching 56 passes for 857 yards and four touchdowns. The departures of Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker after the 2016 season led many to believe Enunwa was the Jets No. 1 receiver moving forward.
A bulging disc suffered in the 2017 preseason would put a halt to that expectation however, forcing Enunwa to sit out all of the regular season.
Fast forward to the 2018 season and Enunwa has picked up right where he left off becoming the “security blanket” for Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold.
This past Sunday showcased a number of acrobatic catches from Enunwa, and he played a pivotal role moving the chains on Jets scoring drives.
Through two games, Enunwa has been targeted 21 times hauling in 13 catches for 155 yards and a touchdown.
He is a must watch this Thursday night in Cleveland!
